JANUARY 18TH - ANDY POTTS AND JIMMY RICCITELLOWe have more exciting news to announce. Both Jimmy Riccitello and Andy Potts have committed to attending TRIFEST. Jimmy, a local Tucson resident, will be leading the Friday morning ride up Mount Lemmon. The TRIFEST Mount Lemmon ride is shaping up to one of “The Rides” to be on in 2008 with multiple pros, industry reps and age-group athletes all taking part. Andy will be speaking at the conference. His talk summaries will be posted once they become available. JANUARY 17TH - CONFERENCE SCHEDULEThe tentative conference schedule has been posted on the Louis Garneau Multisport Conference page. As a reminder, USAT coaches are available to attain CEU credits at this event. JANUARY 16TH - GURU BUSOne of the highlights of the TRIFEST weekend will surely be the Guru bus coming down from North of the border. Guru will be on hand demonstrating over 30 of their triathlon and road bikes including Crono, Geneo, Evolo, Magis, Merus, Premio, Venio and Ventus. On Thursday 28 February from 10:00am to 6:00pm Guru Bikes will be set up in front of the TriSports.com retail store for with Demo bikes of their complete line for 2008. On a first come – first serve basis – bring your shoes and pedals and get fit on one of their demo fleet and Guru will make the bike available to you for the Mt. Lemmon ride scheduled for Friday morning. So plan on being there early to take advantage of this great opportunity On Saturday and Sunday, see the entire Guru line at the Troy Jacobson Multisport Expo at TRIFEST. |
